Origin and background of the character
The character Hello Kitty (whose real name is Kitty White) comes from the fantasy world created by designer Yuko Shimizu for the Japanese company Sanrio in 1974. The story of her everyday life is set in the suburbs of London, where this big-hearted little schoolgirl enjoys heart-warming adventures surrounded by her family and her loyal classmates. Hello Kitty is characterised by her deep kindness and her iconic red bow, which she always wears on her left ear. The Chase variant version showcases her twin sister and best friend, Mimmy White, who is distinguished by her yellow bow, worn demurely on her right ear. This vinyl figurine perfectly captures this legendary and timeless twin bond, ready to add a touch of nostalgia and retro charm to any pop culture enthusiast’s shelf.
