This original collaboration combines the instantly recognisable world of Hatsune Miku with that of the famous Japanese chocolates, TIROL Choco. For the occasion, the virtual singer wears an outfit specially designed to reflect the brand’s sweet and delicate aesthetic, with colours reminiscent of milk chocolate.

Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer originally developed by Crypton Future Media. Launched in August 2007 as the first representative of the Character Vocal Series, she is based on a voice bank that allows users to create their own songs using voice synthesis software.
Her instantly recognisable design — long turquoise hair tied in two pigtails, a futuristic outfit and electronic accessories — quickly enabled her to transcend the confines of music software.
Thanks to the thousands of songs, music videos, illustrations and creations produced by her community, Miku has gradually become a true icon of Japanese digital culture. She appears in video games, concerts featuring digital projections and a multitude of collaborations with artists and brands.
Unlike a character from a traditional manga, Hatsune Miku does not have a single, fixed official backstory. Instead, her identity is rooted in the creativity of her community: every artist can reinterpret her in a different style, setting or outfit.
It is precisely this freedom that makes collaborations such as Hatsune Miku x TIROL Choco possible. The virtual singer can thus adopt a design entirely inspired by the indulgent world of the famous Japanese chocolate brand, whilst retaining the visual elements that make her instantly recognisable.
This ‘Milk’ version therefore transforms Miku into a softer, sweeter aesthetic, offering an original interpretation of the character that is perfectly suited to the creative spirit that has accompanied Hatsune Miku since her debut.
