Half Moon Bay offers a magnet dedicated to Ravenclaw, one of the four houses at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter universe. Rectangular in shape, it features the house’s colours and crest in a compact design intended to decorate a fridge, a magnetic board or any other suitable metal surface.
The design primarily features a blue background surrounded by a silver-grey border. In the centre is the Ravenclaw coat of arms featuring its eagle, the house’s emblematic animal. This design draws on the visual identity developed for Ravenclaw in the Harry Potter film adaptations, where blue is notably paired with silvery tones.
Made of metal, the magnet has a magnetic back that allows it to be attached to a flat metal surface. Measuring approximately 9 x 6.6 cm, it offers a surface large enough to make the crest clearly visible without taking up too much space. It can therefore be used as a small decorative item in a kitchen, an office or a space dedicated to a Harry Potter collection.

Origin and lore of Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw is one of the four houses at Hogwarts. It was founded by Rowena Ravenclaw, one of the four witches and wizards who founded the school alongside Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff and Salazar Slytherin.
The house particularly values intelligence, curiosity, wisdom, learning and originality. During the Sorting Ceremony, the Sorting Hat therefore sorts pupils whose qualities match these values into Ravenclaw. Notable members of the house include Luna Lovegood, Cho Chang and Professor Filius Flitwick.
Ravenclaw’s emblematic animal is the eagle. In the novels, the house’s traditional colours are blue and bronze, whilst the film adaptations have popularised an association of blue with silvery or grey hues. The magnet specifically reflects this second visual interpretation with its blue background and silvery-grey border.
The Ravenclaw common room is located in a tower at Hogwarts and has an unusual feature: its entrance cannot be opened with a simple password. Pupils must correctly answer a riddle posed by a magical door knocker, a system that directly reflects the importance the house places on thought and intellect.
