GUNDAM SEED – MG 1/100 MBF-02 Strike Rouge – Model Kit

Discover the MBF-02 Strike Rouge, Cagalli Yula Athha’s iconic Mobile Suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, with this 1/100 scale Master Grade model kit from Bandai Spirits. Recognisable by its distinctive pink, red and white colour scheme, the Strike Rouge retains the silhouette of the famous Strike Gundam whilst boasting an instantly recognisable visual identity.

This Master Grade version features a detailed and highly articulated internal structure. The shoulder joints, in particular, feature a mechanism allowing for a greater range of motion, whilst the cockpit can be opened. The legs feature a detailed internal frame, and certain parts of the thigh armour move in tandem with the knees to enhance the naturalness of the poses.

The kit also includes the Striker Wing Pack, allowing you to recreate the iconic Strike Red configuration. Its arsenal includes a Beam Rifle, an anti-beam shield, two Beam Sabres and two Armor Schneider combat knives, which can be stored in the side waist guards. A catapult-bridge-style display stand allows the Mobile Suit to be displayed in various configurations. 

The parts are moulded in different colours and use the snap-fit assembly system characteristic of Bandai Gunpla. No glue is required for assembly. Markings and decals complete the finish, whilst painting remains optional for the Mobile Suit’s main components.

The MBF-02 Strike Rouge is built by Morgenroete using spare parts intended for the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. Primarily piloted by Cagalli Yula Athha, it is notably distinguished by its pink and red colour scheme, linked to its enhanced Phase Shift system, and by the use of a Power Extender which increases its operational range. The Mobile Suit also retains compatibility with the Strike Gundam’s Striker Pack modular system. 

In Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Cagalli uses the Strike Rouge during the final stages of the Cosmic Era conflict. As part of the Orb forces and regularly equipped with the Wing Striker Pack, the Mobile Suit fights alongside units piloted by Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala. Its distinctive livery and its association with Cagalli have made it one of the most recognisable variants of the Strike Gundam.
