Origin and world of the character (Lore)
1992 marked a major turning point for the Goofy character with the launch of the famous animated series GoofTroop. This production reinvented the hero by setting him in the suburbs as a devoted single father, confronted with modern everyday life alongside his son Max and their eccentric neighbour Pat Hibulaire. The thematic collection traces these stylistic evolutions over time. The 1992 version precisely captures the dynamic, colourful aesthetic that marked a whole generation of television viewers, cementing Goofy's place among the key figures of the golden age of Disney animation at the time.
