Origin and world of the character (Lore)
The 1950s and 1960s marked a memorable era for Goofy through the famous series of short parody films " How to... ". (series of parody shorts.) In these cult cartoons, the character embodied the average awkward American trying to learn various sports, assemble a piece of furniture or become a good father, all commented on by a solemn voiceover. The thematic collection retraces these major visual milestones in his career. The 1963 version faithfully captures the retro aesthetic and slapstick attitude that defined this pivotal period in Disney Studios animation, celebrating Goofy's status as the undisputed king of situational humour.
