Sneak Peek wears a tactical outfit in muted colours, comprising a charcoal-grey reinforced vest, grey sleeves, olive-green cargo trousers, knee pads and black boots. Several red accents feature on his kit, notably on the optical and electronic devices. The name ‘KING’ also appears on his kit, in reference to the character’s identity.
Like the other Classified Series figures, this version features numerous points of articulation, allowing for the recreation of observation, infiltration or combat poses. Hasbro includes nine accessories with Sneak Peek, inspired by his specialism: binoculars, a helmet, night-vision goggles, a reconnaissance drone, a remote control, a rucksack, a periscope and various pieces of weaponry. The inclusion of a drone and modern optical equipment brings his role up to date whilst retaining the iconic periscope associated with the character since the 1980s.

Character background and lore
Sneak Peek, whose real name is Owen King, is the G.I. Joe team’s advanced reconnaissance specialist. His primary field is infantry, whilst his secondary specialism is radio communications. A Sergeant (E-5), he is also a qualified Ranger and particularly skilled in the use of night-vision systems.
His reputation is based in particular on a mission that has become legendary amongst the Rangers. After his control unit had been overrun, no one relayed the order for him to withdraw. Sneak Peek therefore remained hidden for two weeks, continuing to observe enemy movements, take notes and draw maps until his unit finally realised he was still in the field.
His skills enable him to locate an opponent in the dark without revealing his own position. His original kit combined night-vision devices, optical rangefinders, microphones and communication systems, which explains the abundance of observation equipment featured in this new Classified Series interpretation.
Sneak Peek made his debut in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero range in 1987. In 1988, Hasbro re-released him in the Night Force colour scheme, alongside Lt. Falcon. Night Force was then a unit specialising in surveillance and night-time operations, recognisable by its uniforms and vehicles in darker shades.
Classified Series No. 237 draws specifically on this 1988 Night Force version whilst updating his equipment. Notably, the vintage figure’s massive observation device has been replaced by more contemporary kit comprising a drone, night-vision goggles, electronic equipment and a compact periscope. The figure thus retains the identity of the original reconnaissance specialist whilst adapting it to a modern military unit.
