Origin and character’s universe
Released in cinemas in 1989, Ghostbusters II continues the paranormal adventures of the famous team of New York ghostbusters. In this second instalment, the threat takes the form of Vigo of the Carpathians (also known as Vigo the Sorrow of Moldavia or Vigo the Cruel), a 16th-century tyrant and sorcerer whose malevolent spirit has survived within an imposing painting on display at the Manhattan Museum of Art. Fuelled by the stream of pink psychoreactive slime flowing beneath the city, Vigo attempts to reincarnate himself into the world of the living. This figurine faithfully recreates the iconic design of his heavy medieval armour, making it a highly nostalgic must-have for all Ghostbusters fans.
