This Banpresto figurine depicts Frieren in a ‘Holy Emblem’ version, directly inspired by the ancient insignia she keeps as proof of her status as a mage. Standing approximately 20 cm tall, it depicts the elf in winter travelling attire and in a calm pose that reflects her reserved nature.
Frieren is depicted standing, with one hand resting on her hip whilst the other holds the Holy Emblem by its long cord. The metal object hangs in front of her coat and is truly the centrepiece of this version. The character wears a long, light beige coat with a double row of brown buttons, paired with a wide light blue scarf tied around her neck, dark tights and brown boots.
Her long silvery hair, with a slight mauve tinge, is tied back in two low plaits that fall down either side of her figure. Her pointed elven ears remain clearly visible, as do her red earrings. Her face bears a small, satisfied smile that contrasts with her usually impassive expression and gives this depiction a particularly recognisable personality.

Character background and lore
Frieren is an elf who has lived for over a thousand years and is the sorceress of the group of heroes who once defeated the Demon King. Following this victory, she resumed her travels, viewing the few decades spent with her companions as a relatively short period in the grand scheme of her existence. However, Himmel’s death made her realise just how little she knew about her former companions and led her to embark on a new journey to better understand humans. She is now travelling with Fern and Stark towards Aureole, the Land where souls rest.
The Holy Emblem is particularly telling of Frieren’s longevity. When she wishes to sit the first-class mage examination in Äußerst, she possesses no certification issued by modern magical organisations, whose structures have changed numerous times over the course of her life. She does, however, retain this ancient emblem, a relic from an era so distant that almost no one can yet recognise its significance. The First-Class Exam arc begins precisely in episode 18 of the anime.
The emblem is thus a symbol particularly suited to Frieren: though modest and weathered in appearance, it bears witness to a past and a magical legacy that stretch far beyond the memory of most humans. This Banpresto figurine directly capitalises on this contrast by depicting Frieren calmly holding this ancestral artefact, with the slightly satisfied air of someone who is fully aware of its value, whilst almost no one around her understands it.
