Character background and universe (Lore)
Shikinami Asuka Langley is one of the Evangelion pilots in the Rebuild of Evangelion saga, also known as Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition. She is primarily associated with Evangelion Unit-02 and is characterised by her self-confidence, combative nature and extensive experience as a pilot.
In the Evangelion universe, pilots take their places aboard biomechanical units known as Evangelions to confront threats known as Angels. Asuka plays a significant role within this group and, in particular, has a complex relationship with Shinji Ikari and the other members of NERV.
This OSHI WORKS Mini version recreates her appearance in the Unit-02 plugsuit, reimagining it in a more compact and stylised design whilst retaining the character’s distinctive visual features.
