Origin and universe of the character
Piccolo (formerly known as Piccolo Jr.) is one of the most iconic characters in the universal Dragon Ball saga, created by Akira Toriyama. Hailing from the distant planet Namek, he was initially born to avenge his father before forming a permanent alliance with Son Goku and becoming the spiritual mentor and protector of the young Son Gohan. In the Dragon Ball Super series, Piccolo continues to perfect his mental and physical training to defend the universe against unprecedented cosmic threats, shining with his superior tactical intelligence during the Tournament of Power. Banpresto’s DXF collection draws on all its expertise to sculpt with precision the anatomical details of his muscular arms and the characteristic folds of his famous purple combat outfit, complete with his heavy white cape.
