Narrative context and universe (Lore)
In theDragon Ball universe, Son Goten is the second son of the main protagonist Son Goku and his wife Chichi, as well as the younger brother of Son Gohan. Endowed with the high genetic potential characteristic of Saiyan-Earthling hybrids, he is historically distinguished by his precocious ability to master the Super Saiyan transformation from childhood, without having undergone the emotional trauma usually required to reach this level of power.
TheBlood of Saiyansrange captures the warriors of the series at the precise moment their spiritual energy (Ki) awakens, altering the colour of their hair. Goten is a key figure in the Buu arc, during which he learns the Fusion technique with his companion Trunks to form the warrior Gotenks, a major strategic asset developed to ensure the defence of Earth.
