Meet Peter La Fleur, owner of Average Joe’s Gym and hero of *Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story*, with this Funko POP! Movies No. 1814 figurine. Inspired by the 2004 sports comedy, this figure depicts the character played by Vince Vaughn during the decisive match of the Las Vegas dodgeball tournament.
Peter is wearing the Average Joe’s team’s yellow and red kit and has a white headband across his eyes. He is holding a black dodgeball in his right hand, whilst his posture – with one knee raised and his body leaning forward – captures the action of the final showdown. The figurine rests on a small transparent base which ensures its stability.
The eye patch is a particularly important element of this depiction: during the sudden-death match against White Goodman, Peter chooses to fight blindfolded, recalling the teachings of his coach, Patches O’Houlihan. This POP! figure therefore directly recreates one of the film’s climactic moments, rather than simply depicting a generic outfit worn by the character.

Character background and universe (Lore)
Peter LaFleur is the owner of Average Joe’s Gym, a small gym frequented by a group of characters who are as endearing as they are eccentric. His business is under threat when White Goodman, owner of the luxury Globo Gym chain located across the street, seeks to take over the premises. Peter must raise $50,000 to prevent his gym from closing down.
To raise this sum, Peter and the members of Average Joe’s decide to take part in a dodgeball tournament in Las Vegas, where the first prize is exactly the amount they need. The team then receives training from Patches O’Houlihan, a former dodgeball champion whose particularly brutal methods nevertheless end up significantly improving their performance.
Figurine No. 1814 depicts, in greater detail, the final face-off between Peter and White Goodman. The match concludes with a sudden-death round. Inspired by Patches, Peter deliberately blindfolds himself, dodges White’s throw and then manages to hit him with his own ball, thereby securing victory for Average Joe’s.
Peter then reveals that he used the $100,000 he received from White to bet on his team’s victory. Thanks to the winnings, he is able to take control of Globo Gym, reclaim Average Joe’s and ultimately turn the situation completely around. This scene makes Funko’s blindfolded Peter one of the versions most directly linked to the film’s dénouement.
