Character background and universe (Lore)
Stitch is one of the main characters in Lilo & Stitch. Created artificially as ‘Experiment 626’, he was designed by the alien scientist Jumba Jookiba to be extremely resilient, intelligent and destructive.
After escaping to Earth, Stitch lands in Hawaii and meets Lilo Pelekai, a young girl who adopts him, thinking he is an unusual dog. This encounter gradually transforms Stitch, who discovers the concept of family through Lilo and her sister Nani.
The concept of ‘Ohana’ – that no one should be left behind or forgotten – becomes one of the central themes of his story. Despite his initially chaotic nature, Stitch gradually learns to control his instincts and finds his place within his new family.
The character is visually distinctive thanks to his blue fur, his large ears with purple hues and his alien-like appearance. The magnet incorporates several of these visual elements directly into the logo to make Stitch recognisable without depicting the character in full.
