Origin and background of the character
Created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in 1928, Minnie Mouse made her historic debut alongside Mickey in the cult short film *Steamboat Willie*. Instantly recognisable by her polka-dot dress, her high heels and her signature bow on her head, she has embodied the elegance, charm and festive spirit of the Disney studios for nearly a century. Over the generations, these legendary characters have brightened up childhoods and storytime all over the world. This Funko Pop! version faithfully recreates the classic design of the little anthropomorphic mouse, making it the perfect choice for all collectors of retro items and enthusiasts of the wider Mickey Mouse universe.
