DEMON SLAYER - Zenitsu Agatsuma - Ikigai 1/6 Scale Statue by Tsume, 41 cm

Fear vanishes, instinct takes over and, in a flash, Zenitsu Agatsuma becomes one of the most formidable Demon Slayers.

With this impressive 1/6 scale Ikigai statue, Tsume Art captures Zenitsu at the height of one of his most iconic moments: his battle on Mount Natagumo, when he overcomes his terror to unleash the full power of his Thunder Breath.

Frozen in time just moments before the burst of speed, Zenitsu strikes a low, intensely focused stance, his hand firmly clenched around the hilt of his sword. His yellow haori appears to be swept away by the force of the shockwave, whilst the effects surrounding the composition visually convey the blinding speed of his attack.

The composition fully exploits the contrast that defines the character: behind the usually terrified young boy lies a fighter endowed with extraordinary instinct and mastery when he reaches a state of absolute concentration.

Tsume also comes with a second interchangeable face. This depicts Zenitsu with entirely white eyes and clenched teeth, allowing for an even more faithful recreation of his trance-like state at the moment he truly becomes the embodiment of lightning.

Standing 41 cm tall, with its dynamic features and polyresin construction, this Ikigai figure forms a true diorama designed for Demon Slayer collectors seeking a spectacular representation of Zenitsu.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Zenitsu Agatsuma is one of the main Demon Slayers accompanying Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

At first glance, Zenitsu is a far cry from the traditional image of a fearless warrior. Extremely anxious, pessimistic and easily terrified by demons, he constantly doubts his own abilities and can lose all composure when a situation becomes dangerous.

Yet behind this personality lies an exceptional talent as a fighter.

Zenitsu was trained in the Lightning Breath, a fighting style based on extremely rapid bursts of speed and attacks capable of striking the opponent in an instant. Unable to master all the forms taught at this school, he focuses his training on the first technique until he has perfected it to a remarkable level.

His distinctive trait becomes particularly apparent when his fear becomes too intense: Zenitsu can slip into a state bordering on unconsciousness. Freed from his hesitation and panic, his body then instinctively applies everything he has learnt during his training.

The scene depicted by this statue takes place on Mount Natagumo, during his clash with one of the spider demons. Poisoned and cornered, Zenitsu pushes beyond his limits and transforms his technique into a lightning-fast attack.

This moment perfectly encapsulates the character’s paradox: the one who often considers himself the weakest in the group can, for a few seconds, become a swordsman of terrifying precision and speed.

With this 1/6-scale Ikigai figure, Tsume has specifically chosen to capture this moment of transformation, when fear gives way to absolute concentration and Zenitsu finally unleashes the full power that lies dormant within him.
