Character origin and universe
Daki is a major antagonist in the globally successful Demon Slayer, the shōnen manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. Sharing the prestigious position of Upper Moon Six within the Twelve Demon Moons with her elder brother Gyutaro, she conceals her monstrous nature beneath the guise of a captivatingly beautiful Oiran (high-ranking courtesan) in the Yoshiwara pleasure quarter. Selfish, sadistic and vain, she uses her bloodthirsty occult power to animate and stretch the ribbons of her traditional silk sash at will (Obi Sash Manipulation). These malleable fabrics, capable of slicing through steel or trapping her targets’ energy within a pocket-sized dimension, make her a particularly formidable fighter. This exclusive “POP! Plus” edition captures all the dark grace and dynamism of her textile attacks, establishing itself as a centrepiece to complete your collection dedicated to this major story arc.
