Character background and universe (Lore)
In the cult classic Albator saga, the Space Wolf SW-190 is the primary single-seat fighter aircraft deployed aboard the mighty battleship Arcadia. Designed by the brilliant engineer Tochiro Oyama to provide close protection for the flagship, this elite fighter is feared throughout the galaxy for its exceptional manoeuvrability and blistering speed in aerial and space combat.
Piloted by the crew’s most intrepid members — notably the young and fiery Tadashi Daiba (Ramis) — the Space Wolf-190 is heavily armed with laser cannons capable of piercing the armour of invading fleets, such as those of the Sylvidres. Its distinctive design, heavily inspired by classic military aviation blended with futuristic lines, perfectly embodies the ‘Leijiverse’ aesthetic. It is an indispensable historical link in the resistance led by the forty outcasts of the Black Flag.
