Origin and universe of the character
Based on Tite Kubo’s famous shōnen manga, Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki after his chance encounter with Rukia Kuchiki, a Shinigami (God of Death) from the spirit world. To save Ichigo’s family from a Hollow attack, Rukia is forced to transfer almost all of her powers to him, transforming him into a substitute Shinigami and binding their fates together forever. To conceal her presence in the human world, she uses a temporary substitute body (Gigai) and crosses paths with Kon, a whimsical and mischievous modified soul (Gikongan), who has inadvertently been transferred into the body of a second-hand lion soft toy. This Pop! figure perfectly captures the duo’s unique and humorous bond, depicting Rukia in her standard uniform holding the chatty little lion firmly in her arms. It is an essential choice for all anime enthusiasts and collectors of Japanese pop culture.
