Flame Cerberus utilises the modular construction characteristic of the Custom Line. The Lock Chip Cerberus forms the visual centrepiece of the spinning top, whilst the Main Blade Flame features a smooth, rounded shape with the metal concentrated towards its periphery to enhance inertia. It is paired with the Assist Blade Wheel, a cylindrical component that extends this circular profile and helps deflect opponents’ attacks.
The Ratchet 5-80 positions the spinning top at a relatively high height, whilst the Bit WB (for Wall Ball) combines a rounded tip with a cylindrical section designed to minimise loss of balance. When Flame Cerberus begins to tilt following an impact, this geometry helps it return to a more vertical position and maintain its spin. The Bit also features the gears required to engage the X-Celerator Rail on a Beystadium X and trigger an Xtreme Dash.

Origin and backstory of the top (Lore)
Flame Cerberus is associated with Million Mizu in the Beyblade X manga and anime. Million is a Blader linked to the Zodiac team and uses this Bey as his main Bey. Its design also features several canine references, in keeping with the Cerberus theme chosen for his Bey.
The design of Flame Cerberus is inspired by Cerberus, the gigantic three-headed dog tasked with guarding the entrance to the Underworld in Greek mythology. This concept is reflected in the Flame Blade through a structure divided into three main sections. The circular profile and the three main points evoke the three heads of the mythological guardian, whilst the overall aesthetic references the fires of Hell.
In the series, Flame Cerberus’s performance is directly linked to its ability to maintain its balance. Its Hyper Boost Purgatory Gate technique makes particular use of the Bit Wall Ball’s behaviour: when the spinning top tilts, its outer edge makes contact with the arena and helps it right itself. His Xtreme Dash, meanwhile, is called Purgatory Maw and uses the acceleration of the X-Celerator Rail to transform this endurance-type Beyblade into a swift counter-attacker.
Flame Cerberus also pays homage to the franchise’s history. Its Cerberus theme and certain design elements pay tribute to Hell Kerbecs from Metal Fight Beyblade, another Beyblade inspired by the three-headed guardian of the Underworld. The Custom Line thus reinterprets this historic motif with the modular construction and Xtreme Dash system unique to Beyblade X.
