AVENGERS DOOMSDAY - Thor - Art Scale 1/10 34cm

Inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, this Iron Studios figurine depicts Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder, ready to join a new battle alongside the Marvel heroes. Part of the BDS Art Scale 1/10 range, it stands approximately 34 cm tall and rests on an imposing, themed base evoking the debris of a battlefield.

Thor strikes a particularly dynamic combat pose, with a massive axe raised above his head whilst he holds Mjolnir in his other hand. His costume combines black armour with large circular gold embellishments, whilst a dark cape lined with red billows behind him. The movement of the cape and the positioning of his weapons give the composition a vertical and powerful silhouette.

The base, meanwhile, features a damaged mechanical structure, composed of plates, cables and broken metal parts. This base allows the figurine to be integrated into the Battle Diorama Series, a range designed to bring together several characters from the same battle within a larger scene. Iron Studios has also announced an interchangeable hand, offering an additional option for displaying Thor.

Made primarily from polystone and hand-painted, this static piece features a collector’s-grade finish. Its dimensions are approximately 33.5 × 20.3 × 21.8 cm, standing approximately 34 cm tall.

Character origin and lore

Thor Odinson is the son of Odin and one of Asgard’s most powerful warriors. God of Thunder and a long-standing member of the Avengers, he possesses superhuman strength and longevity, as well as the ability to control lightning. His story is closely linked to Mjolnir, the enchanted hammer forged from uru, which has long been one of his most recognisable symbols.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor faces numerous conflicts affecting Asgard, Earth and the rest of the cosmos. In particular, he helps form the Avengers, confronts the Dark Elves and Hela, battles Thanos during the Infinity War, and continues his journey following the destruction of Asgard. His journey alternates between royal responsibilities, personal losses and the search for a new place for himself beyond his traditional role as an Asgardian prince.

The figurine is specifically inspired by his appearance in *Avengers: Doomsday*. Iron Studios presents Thor as returning to battle when a new threat endangers reality and the multiverse, with Doctor Doom at the centre of this conflict. The manufacturer emphasises his role as protector and the power of the God of Thunder in this new battle.

As of 1 October 2026, with *Avengers: Doomsday* not yet released, the precise narrative details surrounding this scene and Thor’s equipment remain deliberately limited. The figurine visually confirms the presence of Mjolnir and a large battle axe, but Iron Studios does not give the axe a specific name in its official product description; it is therefore best not to identify it more precisely until it is confirmed on screen.
