The ninth graders of Kunugigaoka Elementary School have been given an unusual mission: to assassinate their teacher Koro-Sensei, a super-powered, tentacled creature capable of destroying the Earth. But Koro-Sensei is no ordinary monster; he turns out to be the Best Teacher they've ever had, teaching them valuable life lessons while training them to become assassins. Between comical assassination attempts and profound learning moments, the students discover the value of friendship, trust, and perseverance.
