From Kotobukiya’s original ARCANADEA range, Ermeda joins the collection as an articulated model kit standing approximately 18.5 cm tall. The character belongs to the angelic-type Dears and was created based on an original illustration by necömi, the lead illustrator of the ARCANADEA universe. Like the other characters in the range, Ermeda blends fantasy aesthetics with mechanical elements in a design intended for both display and customisation.
The kit allows you to choose between two configurations: Normal Mode, corresponding to her usual appearance, and Wilize Mode, used for combat. Ermeda is particularly distinguished by her two pairs of articulated wings, connected to a circular system on her back. The joints have been positioned to preserve the organic silhouette of the wings whilst allowing for a wide range of poses. The hair, skirt and several armour elements also feature movable parts.
Her main weapon is a bow accompanied by several arrows. Two types of projectiles are provided: standard arrows and translucent light-blue arrows reminiscent of water. Special parts also allow these projectiles to be attached to a Flying Base to simulate their trajectory in mid-flight. This choice of effects echoes the Water attribute officially associated with Ermeda in the ARCANADEA universe.
The kit offers numerous customisation options. It includes four pre-printed faces, decals to create further expressions and six pairs of PVC hands. Standard 3 mm connectors ensure compatibility with various elements from the M.S.G, Frame Arms and Frame Arms Girl ranges, whilst neck parts also allow certain heads from Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device to be used.

Ermeda is an angelic-type Dear with the Water attribute. In her official profile, she is described as a warm and maternal figure, with a ‘big sister’ personality, someone to whom others naturally turn for comfort. Behind her calm and dreamy demeanour, however, she knows how to remain level-headed and resourceful when the situation turns serious.
She rarely gets angry, but becomes particularly formidable when someone attacks those she holds dear. This power is not merely suggested by her appearance: Ermeda belongs to the ‘Seven Sacred Swords’, a group in which she is officially described as one of the most capable fighters. Her main flaw is far less threatening: despite all her qualities, she has a dreadful sense of direction.
The ARCANADEA universe is set in the near future, transformed by the emergence of an unknown energy known as Arcana. Beings from another world are also beginning to appear. Those who manage to coexist without harming humans are known as Dears. The Eden organisation then designates certain humans as Dear Masters, capable of working alongside them to recover items linked to Arcana.
The concept of ‘Engage’ represents the bond formed between a Dear and its human partner. In the case of the model kits, this duality is reflected in particular by the transition from Normal Mode to Wilize Mode, a configuration designed for combat. Ermeda thus combines her angelic appearance with more offensive equipment, including her large wings, her bow and her arrows with water-based effects, whilst retaining the science-fiction/fantasy identity characteristic of ARCANADEA.
