Relive the showdown between Ellen Ripley and the fearsome Dog Alien in this 1/10 Art Scale figurine created by Iron Studios and inspired by the film Alien 3. Standing approximately 23 cm tall, this piece brings together the saga’s iconic heroine and the particularly fast and aggressive variant of the Xenomorph that appeared on Fiorina 161.
Ripley is depicted in a defensive stance, wearing the plain outfit she wears in the film’s prison complex. Facing her, the Dog Alien – also known as the Runner – adopts a menacing, crouched stance, with its elongated silhouette, limbs adapted for quadrupedal movement and imposing tail. The proximity of the two figures creates a particularly tense scene, directly inspired by the oppressive atmosphere of *Alien 3*.
The piece rests on an industrial diorama base, in keeping with the austere environment of the Fiorina 161 penal colony. Iron Studios combines detailed sculpting with intricate painting to distinguish Ripley’s clothing and face from the Xenomorph’s organic and biomechanical textures. Measuring approximately 20 cm wide and 13.5 cm deep, the composition offers a truly cinematic scene whilst retaining the characteristic proportions of the 1/10 Art Scale range.

Ellen Ripley, played by Sigourney Weaver, is the central heroine of the first films in the Alien saga. In Alien 3, her escape pod crashes on Fiorina 161, a remote facility housing a penal colony. Ripley soon discovers that a Xenomorph has also survived the journey and begins to kill off the occupants of the complex.
However, this creature differs from those encountered previously. In the theatrical version of *Alien 3*, a Facehugger parasitises Spike, one of the prisoners’ dogs. The resulting Xenomorph, commonly known as the Dog Alien or Runner, adopts a morphology and behaviour influenced by its four-legged host. It moves mainly on all fours and is characterised by its particularly high speed and agility. In the Assembly Cut version of the film, however, its host is an ox.
At the same time, Ripley discovers that she herself is carrying a Xenomorph Queen embryo, which explains, in particular, why the Dog Alien refuses to kill her when it comes face to face with her. She then realises that the Weyland-Yutani Corporation wants to recover the creature she is carrying, adding a second threat to the battle already underway against the Xenomorph lurking in the prison.
The Iron Studios figurine captures this confrontation by bringing Ripley and the Dog Alien together directly on the same diorama, highlighting one of the central themes of *Alien 3*: a struggle for survival waged with very few resources against a creature even faster and more unpredictable than its predecessors.
