The Suriel is a mysterious fairy-like creature from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series written by Sarah J. Maas. Unlike many beings from Prythian, it is defined not primarily by its brute strength, but by the information it possesses.
The Suriel is renowned for knowing many secrets and hidden truths. When captured in accordance with certain rules, it can answer the questions put to it, often directly but sometimes enigmatically.
Feyre Archeron encounters this creature several times during her journey, and some of the Suriel’s revelations play an important role in her understanding of Prythian, its inhabitants and the dangers that surround her.
Despite his unsettling appearance, the Suriel comes to occupy a special place in the story and becomes a surprisingly memorable figure for both Feyre and the readers. This POP! Books No. 61 thus pays tribute to one of the most unique and iconic creatures in the world of *A Court of Thorns and Roses*.
