Character’s origin and background
Founded in 1953, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is the world’s most prestigious and influential professional wrestling organisation. In the late 1990s, during the famous and irreverent ‘Attitude Era’, the New Age Outlaws established themselves as one of the most popular, provocative and successful tag teams in the company’s history. Comprising the provocative mic-man “Road Dogg” Jesse James and the athletic “Badd Ass” Billy Gunn, the duo set the crowds alight from the moment they entered the ring, thanks to cult catchphrases chanted in unison by thousands of fans. Later integrated into the rebel faction D-Generation X (DX) alongside Triple H and Shawn Michaels, they made their mark on wrestling history with their raw style and memorable matches for the tag team championship belts. This Funko collector’s double pack perfectly captures the attitude, charisma and retro outfits of this legendary duo – an essential addition to the collection of anyone nostalgic for the golden age of wrestling.
