Origin and character’s universe
Inspired by the famous, hit Broadway musical, the blockbuster feature film Wicked offers a spectacular reimagining of the fantastical world of The Wizard of Oz created by L. Frank Baum. The plot reveals the story of Elphaba’s youth: a young woman misunderstood and rejected by society because of her unusual emerald-green skin. Admitted to the prestigious University of Shiz, she meets the bubbly Glinda, who becomes her flatmate and her most loyal friend. Blessed with a prodigious yet uncontrollable raw talent for witchcraft, Elphaba possesses a keen sense of justice and fairness – deep-seated values that will lead her to rebel against the corrupt power of the Wizard of Oz. This defiance will seal her tragic fate, turning her into the legendary ‘Wicked Witch of the West’. This Funko Pop! figurine perfectly captures the intensity, fierce determination and mystery of this fascinating cultural icon.
