Discover Sabretooth, one of Wolverine’s fiercest adversaries, with this Marvel POP! figure No. 1656 produced by Funko. Part of the Weapon X Programme series, this depiction of Victor Creed strikes a dynamic pose that emphasises his animalistic nature and physical power. The figurine stands approximately 10.9 cm tall and is a vinyl bobblehead.
The design captures Sabretooth’s classic look, with his long blond hair, bared fangs and extended claws. He wears an orange and black jumpsuit trimmed with light-coloured fur around the collar, cuffs and legs, paired with brown gloves and boots. His crouched pose, as if he were about to pounce on an opponent, is supported by a transparent stand that accentuates the sense of movement.
This edition is part of a Funko range dedicated to the Weapon X programme, alongside Weapon X, Weapon H and X-23, amongst others. Funko presents Sabretooth as a predator with razor-sharp claws and as one of the X-Men’s most dangerous adversaries, particularly associated with his rivalry with Wolverine.
Sabretooth, whose real name is Victor Creed, is a mutant from the Marvel universe and one of Wolverine’s long-standing enemies. Both characters are notable for their exceptional longevity, linked to their healing factors, and share a particularly violent rivalry that spans much of their history. Marvel describes Creed as one of Logan’s most tenacious adversaries.
Sabretooth is also directly linked to the Weapon X programme. Marvel presents him as one of the first test subjects on whom this clandestine organisation carried out its experiments. Weapon X specialises in exploiting and modifying mutants to turn them into weapons, notably through physical manipulation, imprisonment and various enhancement programmes.
His mutant physiology grants him exceptional resilience and regenerative abilities, coupled with considerable physical strength, heightened senses, fangs and claws. At various points in the comics, Creed has also been subjected to experiments involving adamantium. Marvel states that, following several separate incidents, a reactivated version of Weapon X implanted adamantium into his skeleton and claws against his will.
The rivalry between Victor Creed and Logan remains one of the character’s defining features. Even when they have temporarily belonged to the same organisations or found themselves forced to cooperate, their hostility has regularly resurfaced. Funko’s Weapon X Programme series thus makes direct reference to this shared history and the experiences that have profoundly shaped both mutants.
