Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Introduced in 1995 in the first film of the Pixar saga, Sheriff Woody is historically the favourite toy of young Andy, then of little Bonnie, before choosing to become a free toy at the end of the fourth film. A respected and protective leader, he embodies the values of loyalty and attachment to children. In Toy Story 5, the world of toys is faced with the massive rise of digital technologies and screens that capture the interest of the youngest children. Woody and his companions find themselves confronted with this major technological transition. This figurine captures the classic look of the plastic cowboy as he faces up to the new challenges of this connected era.
