Origin and character’s universe
Released in cinemas in 1995, Toy Story made cinema history by becoming the first feature film to be created entirely using computer-generated imagery. Among the franchise’s most iconic toys are the Aliens (or ‘little green guys’), three-eyed plastic creatures living inside a claw machine at the family-run Pizza Planet pizzeria. Driven by a mystical, childlike devotion to ‘The Claw’, which they regard as a deity who chooses those destined for a better world, they join Andy’s team after being rescued by Buzz and Woody. This commemorative figurine, released to mark the film’s 30th anniversary, playfully captures this timeless visual gag, making it an essential piece for all lovers of Pixar’s masterpieces.
