TOKYO GHOUL - Juzo Suzuya - Maximatic figure 22cm
Plunge into the heart of the GCC's duality and madness with one of the saga's most unpredictable and fearsome detectives. Designed by renowned manufacturer Banpresto, this statuette from the exclusive Maximatic range perfectly captures all the casualness, madness and intensity of Juzo Suzuya. An exceptional model that's a must-have for celebrating the dark atmosphere and unique aesthetic of the work in your collection.
The Story and Lore of the Object
Raised by a ghoul who subjected him to terrible abuse, Juzo Suzuya developed a deeply unstable personality, characterised by a total lack of fear and pain. Taken in by the CCG, he joins the police force as an inspector and quickly distinguishes himself by his brutal and acrobatic fighting methods. Armed with his fearsome Quinque, he hunts down ghouls with childlike detachment and terrifying cruelty, concealing his psychological cracks behind his androgynous appearance and stitched-up body.
This figurine showcases the character's unique, offbeat body language, enhanced by the dynamic, moving postures for which the Maximatic collection is renowned. It faithfully reproduces his white hair dotted with red barrettes, his emblematic body embroidery and the meticulous details of his battle dress. It's a striking snapshot of her eccentricity and destructive vivacity in action.
