This Banpresto figurine depicts Konjiki no Yami, also known as Golden Darkness or simply Yami, in a ‘Sitting’ version from the Nyarls Collection. Standing approximately 13 cm tall, it depicts the character in a relaxed seated pose and features a feline aesthetic specially designed for this collection.
Yami is depicted with her very long blonde hair, the strands of which cascade down her back and frame her figure. Her face retains her characteristic orange-red eyes and a calm expression. This version adds two blonde cat ears and a long, curled black tail, giving the character an appearance directly inspired by the collection’s feline theme.
Her black outfit consists of a lightweight ensemble adorned with textured details, complemented by a bell-adorned collar, black bracelets and several thin straps around her arms and legs. The seated pose, with her legs tucked in on either side of her body and her hands resting in front of her, creates a low, compact composition that is particularly well-suited to display on a shelf or desk. Banpresto also presents this figurine as suitable for display on the edge of a surface.

Character background and lore
Konjiki no Yami is an assassin from outer space and one of the main characters in To LOVE-Ru and its sequel, To LOVE-Ru Darkness. She initially arrives on Earth on a mission to eliminate Rito Yuki. Her official profile describes her as a legendary assassin capable of freely transforming various parts of her body into weapons thanks to her power of transformation.
Despite her initial mission, Yami gradually grows accustomed to life on Earth and stays in Sainan. Naturally reserved and often impassive, she develops bonds with Rito and those around him, particularly with Mikan. Her official profile also mentions her keen fondness for taiyaki, which has become one of the character’s most recognisable and recurring traits.
In To LOVE-Ru Darkness, her past and her abilities take on even greater significance. Yami is in fact an artificial life form designed as a biological weapon, and her ability to transform allows her to alter her body to create various weapons. This background, along with her relationships with Mea Kurosaki and Nemesis, gradually places Yami at the heart of the Darkness plot, moving beyond her initial role as an assassin tasked with pursuing Rito.
