Character background and lore
Inspired by the sporting history and career of the greatest modern golfer, Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods is a Californian-born athlete who spent much of his youth pursuing a single goal: to revolutionise the world of golf and secure his place amongst the greatest legends of pop culture. A precocious prodigy trained by his father, his trajectory took an irreversible turn in 1992 when he made his historic debut on the PGA Tour at the age of 16 at the Los Angeles Open, learning to mask the media pressure behind absolute concentration, thereby developing extraordinary strength of character in the face of seasoned players. Guided by his own moral values and an unwavering quest for technical perfection, he strove to master every swing on the most demanding greens. This marked the beginning of a demanding period of global dominance, during which the young golfer used his determination to break records, becoming the indispensable icon who ushered his sport into a new era of media and sporting prominence.
