Origin and world of the character (Lore)
A former soldier in the US Army, Tommy Miller survives alongside his brother Joel during the first chaotic years following the terrible global epidemic of the Cordyceps fungus. After temporarily joining the Fireflies group of idealistic rebels to find meaning in his life, he moved away from their militant violence to build his own future. Tommy settled in Wyoming, where he became one of the founding leaders of the thriving, fortified community of Jackson. An exceptional marksman, a kind-hearted man but a formidable fighter, he embodies the hope of human reconstruction and a return to civilisation amid the ruins and the infected.
