Meet Ken Masters, Ryu’s long-standing rival and training partner, with this 15 cm articulated figure from Hasbro. Based on his classic Street Fighter look, it allows you to recreate various fighting poses as well as his famous energy and flame-based techniques.
Ken wears his traditional red sleeveless karategi, whose deliberately frayed edges emphasise his look as a seasoned fighter. A black belt is tied around his waist, whilst his white gloves and bare feet complete this iconic outfit. His long blonde hair is tied back here, with several strands falling around his face.
Thanks to its multiple points of articulation, the figure can assume various offensive poses, including a fighting stance or an energy-projection pose. It comes with a large translucent orange-red effect piece, evoking a flame-charged Hadoken, as well as a transparent stand allowing it to be displayed suspended in front of the figure.
An alternative head featuring blue glasses and two interchangeable clenched fists are also included to vary the character’s appearance and poses. The set is presented in a yellow and orange display box decorated with the Street Fighter logo and an illustration of Ken.
Ken Masters is an American fighter trained in martial arts alongside Ryu. The two men were taught by the same master and share a relationship based on friendship, mutual inspiration and a long-standing rivalry. More outgoing than Ryu, Ken is known for his offensive and spectacular fighting style, derived from Ansatsuken.
His repertoire includes, in particular, the Hadoken, the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku and the Shoryuken. Ken generally favours rapid combos and flamboyant techniques, with his Shoryuken being one of his most recognisable attacks. Despite his responsibilities within the Masters family, he continues to train and remains one of Ryu’s main rivals.
