Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Created by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, Stranger Things explores the supernatural phenomena and government secrets that plague the small town of Hawkins in the 1980s. From the outset, Mike Wheeler establishes himself as the natural leader of his group of friends, guided by a deep sense of loyalty and his unshakeable attachment to Eleven. Tales from '85" focuses on the summer of 1985 (season 3). It's a time of major transition for Mike, who fully embraces his love affair with Eleven, much to Hopper's dismay, while dealing with the first teensy struggles of his historic gang, as a new threat looms over the Starcourt shopping centre.
