Origin and character’s universe
Created by the Duffer brothers for Netflix, Stranger Things is a science fiction and horror series that has become a true global pop culture phenomenon. The plot begins in 1983 in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, following the sudden and mysterious disappearance of young Will Byers. Trapped in the Upside Down – a dark, toxic and decaying mirror dimension of our own reality – Will must summon all his courage to escape the terrifying Demogorgon whilst trying to communicate with his mother and friends across the dimensions. Funko’s “Pop! Nooks” range pays a heartfelt tribute to this retro fantasy atmosphere by bringing this transition between the two worlds to life, creating a high-end, poetic display piece for all those nostalgic for the 1980s.
