Meet Stitch with this 350 ml porcelain mug, manufactured by Egan under official Disney licence. Featuring a predominantly white finish, it combines a classic shape with a colourful design inspired by the tropical atmosphere of Lilo & Stitch, perfect for enjoying hot or cold drinks every day.
The design features Stitch wearing sunglasses, surrounded by flowers, foliage and a pineapple. The bright colours contrast with the white porcelain and are a direct nod to the Hawaiian setting associated with the character. The mug’s shape has also been designed to be stackable, making it easy to store alongside other compatible designs from the Egan collection.
Made from porcelain, this mug is microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe in accordance with the manufacturer’s official instructions. Its 350 ml capacity makes it particularly suitable for coffee, tea, hot chocolate or other drinks, whilst also serving as a decorative accessory for fans of the Disney universe.
Stitch, originally known as Experiment 626, is a genetically engineered alien creature and the central character in the 2002 Disney animated film Lilo & Stitch. After escaping and landing on Earth, he finds himself in Hawaii, where he is adopted by young Lilo, who takes him for a rather unusual pet.
Originally programmed to cause chaos and destruction, Stitch gradually develops a very different personality through his interactions with Lilo and her family. Their relationship allows him to discover loyalty, friendship and ‘ohana, the Hawaiian concept of family that plays a central role in the story.
The tropical settings and Hawaiian identity have since become inextricably linked to the character. The design featuring flowers, foliage and pineapples used on this Egan mug directly captures this colourful, summery aspect of Stitch’s world.
