STAR WARS - Tusken Raider (Halloween) - Figure Black Series 15cm

STAR WARS – Tusken Raider ‘Halloween Edition’ – The Black Series 15 cm action figure

Hasbro has released the famous Tusken Raider in a seasonal ‘Halloween Edition’ for the Star Wars: The Black Series collection. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, this version combines the Star Wars universe with the visual style of classic Halloween creatures, in an interpretation that Hasbro presents as a tribute to the ‘invisible mad scientist’.

The figure retains the instantly recognisable silhouette of the inhabitants of the Tatooine desert, but features a design specially created for this edition. Like the other modern releases in the Black Series range, it has multiple points of articulation, allowing for a variety of display poses. The seasonal design and the details of the outfit give the Tusken Raider a deliberately fantastical appearance, distinct from his usual depictions in the films and TV series.

This edition comes with two accessories: a tablet and a comic-series droid. The set completes The Black Series’ Halloween 2026 range, alongside the seasonal versions of the Mon Calamari and the Togruta, amongst others. The figure is available in the collection’s standard 6-inch size, equivalent to approximately 15 cm.

Character background and universe (Lore)

The Tusken Raiders, also known as the Sand People, are nomadic inhabitants of Tatooine. They live in some of the planet’s most hostile regions and wear thick layers of clothing designed, in particular, to protect them from the heat generated by its two suns. Their culture is based on a tribal way of life particularly well-suited to the extreme conditions of the desert.

Young members of Tusken tribes are trained from childhood in the skills necessary for survival in the desert. Among their traditional weapons is the gaderffii, or gaffi stick. Some tribes also use the imposing Banthas as mounts, and the Tusken have a very close bond with these animals.

The Tusken Raiders first appear in *Star Wars: A New Hope*, when Luke Skywalker is attacked in the desert expanses of Tatooine before being rescued by Obi-Wan Kenobi. The species reappears at various points throughout the saga, notably in *The Phantom Menace*, *Attack of the Clones*, *The Mandalorian* and *The Book of Boba Fett*.

However, this Halloween Edition does not correspond to any specific Tusken Raider from the official canon. Hasbro has created a deliberately whimsical mash-up here, combining the species’ appearance with an ‘invisible scientist’ aesthetic and unusual accessories such as the tablet and the BD droid. It is therefore a seasonal interpretation intended for collectors rather than a new canonical character from the Star Wars universe.
