This plastic model kit allows you to faithfully recreate the colossal Imperial Star Destroyer, the most iconic and fearsome warship in the Imperial fleet, from the original trilogy of the globally successful Star Wars film saga.
The model incorporates the stylistic and technical features of the Revell Model Set range. It combines great ease of assembly with excellent attention to detail at the ultra-miniature scale of 1:12,300. The mechanical model accurately captures the characteristic arrowhead (or dagger-shaped) silhouette of this giant of the stars. It meticulously reproduces the features of its complex superstructure, revealing numerous textured engraved details on the hull (raised command bridge, spherical shield generators, lower hangar bays and ion engine nozzles at the rear). Designed to offer a seamless assembly experience, this model features solid, stable parts moulded from light grey injection-moulded plastic to ensure a superb finish once assembled.
Intended primarily as an introduction to model-making, for display on a desk or shelf, this collector’s item comes as a complete, all-in-one ‘Model Set’ box. Its original cardboard packaging protects all the parts sprues and contains the essential accessories needed to complete the model straight away without any additional purchases, including special glue, a paintbrush and the necessary basic acrylic paint pots.

Origin and background of the spacecraft (Lore)
In the Star Wars universe, the Imperial-I class Star Destroyer is the ultimate symbol of the Tarkin Doctrine, which aims to rule the galaxy through fear and a disproportionate display of brute force. Measuring 1,600 metres in length and armed with dozens of heavy turbo-lasers and ion cannons, this heavy cruiser serves as a mobile military base, a troop transport for waves of Stormtroopers, and a carrier for several squadrons of TIE fighters. Featured from the legendary opening scene of Episode IV (A New Hope) in the pursuit of Princess Leia’s Tantive IV, it alone is sufficient to subjugate entire star systems to the will of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. Its massive, angular silhouette, capable of blocking out the starlight above the occupied planets, makes it one of the most memorable, oppressive and iconic military structures in the history of science-fiction cinema.
