Character origin and universe
Directly inspired by the dark, recent events in Marvel comic book pop culture, this figure depicts the tragic evolution of Ben Reilly under the identity of Chasm. A perfect clone of Peter Parker who once served as Scarlet Spider and then Spider-Man, Ben loses almost all of his childhood memories following brain manipulation by the Beyond Corporation. Plunged into an abyss of despair and corrupted by a mutant psycho-reactive substance during the Beyond arc, he transforms into a formidable antagonist capable of manipulating residual green psionic energy.
This Funko Pop! version captures his dark, textured costume with its purple and green hues, as well as his eyes rimmed in black, with remarkable graphic fidelity. Its built-in spring mechanism allows the head to move with the slightest touch, adding a playful dynamic that’s perfect for enhancing your display dedicated to the iconic figures of the Spider-Verse.
