Origin and world of the character
This specific version of the antagonist comes from the narrative universe of the video game Marvel's Spider-Man 2, developed by Insomniac Games. Unlike traditional comic book stories, in which the alien symbiote is primarily associated with Eddie Brock, the plot of this digital work assigns the role of host to Harry Osborn, Peter Parker's best friend. Originally linked to an experimental medical treatment to cure his genetic disease, the creature ends up corrupting its user, giving rise to a hostile entity of imposing stature and increased physical strength.
