History and background of the model
The character of Snow White is the central heroine of the animated feature Snow Whiteand the Seven Dwarfs, released in 1937. This historic project was the very first full-length animated feature film in sound and colour made by the Disney studios, and left an indelible mark on the history of cinema. The Seven Dwarfs' cottage, nestled in the heart of the forest, serves as a refuge for the young princess from the Queen Witch. Its picturesque architecture and highly detailed wood-panelled interior form an iconic backdrop to the film.
Developed by Funko, the "Pop! Nooks" collection is directly inspired by the trend for book nooks (mini-dioramas to slip between books). The series is designed to create the background and architecture of a key film location, giving libraries and exhibition spaces a new visual dimension.
