Origin and background of the character
Directly inspired by the cult Hanna-Barbera cartoon that has spanned generations of pop culture, this figurine features the iconic Great Dane, Scooby-Doo. A loyal companion to Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma at Mystery Inc., this endearing and timid dog much prefers snack breaks to ghost-hunting. Despite his legendary fearfulness, his insatiable hunger often drives him to perform miracles, especially when it comes to tucking into his famous Scooby-Doo treats or devouring a massive, multi-tiered snack.
This Funko Pop! version captures with superb graphic fidelity his brown coat speckled with black, his turquoise blue collar with its ‘SD’ engraved tag, and his expression of pure bliss as he holds a gargantuan snack. An absolutely exceptional choice to infuse a healthy dose of nostalgia and good cheer into the heart of your animation display cabinet.
