RURUDO - Eve "Sweetest Pose" - Figure Espresto 16cm

Based on the original universe created by Japanese illustrator rurudo, this figurine depicts Eve from Banpresto’s ESPRESTO – Sweetest Pose collection. Depicted in a kneeling pose, Eve strikes a light and expressive pose that highlights the character’s distinctive aesthetic and the sculpting craftsmanship characteristic of the ESPRESTO range. The figurine stands approximately 16 cm tall and is made from PVC.

The figure incorporates Eve’s key visual elements: her long mauve hair styled into two ponytails, her small demonic features, and a striped outfit adorned with ruffles and bows. Heart-shaped glasses perched on her forehead, along with a lollipop held in one hand, complete the composition. The pose, the strands of hair cascading to the floor and the various accessories combine to create an instantly recognisable silhouette.

This ‘Sweetest Pose’ version offers a fresh, accessible take on the character within the Banpresto figurine range, ideal for display on a shelf, in a display cabinet or alongside other creations from rurudo’s artistic universe.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Eve is one of the original characters created by the illustrator rurudo, known for her work featuring pastel colour palettes and designs that blend fantasy elements with contemporary fashion. The artist’s official website describes Eve as a young demon, born on 24 December. She grew up believing that very revealing outfits were the traditional attire of demons, even though she herself would prefer to wear more ordinary clothes.

Eve holds a special place in rurudo’s work, as she is presented as the very first original character conceived by the artist. Over the years, she has been the subject of numerous illustrations and figurine adaptations by various manufacturers, becoming one of the iconic characters in rurudo’s personal universe.
