Raphtalia is one of the main heroines of The Rising of the Shield Hero. A tanuki-type demi-human, she meets Naofumi Iwatani, the Shield Hero, whilst she is still very young. She gradually becomes his sword and one of his most loyal allies throughout his adventure.
As she gains experience, Raphtalia becomes an accomplished fighter specialising in swordplay. Her loyalty to Naofumi and her determination to protect those she cares about form an essential part of her development in the series.
This Snow Play Ver., however, chooses to set the battles aside to showcase a much lighter side to the character. Raphtalia appears here in her younger form, simply enjoying a moment of play in the snow. Good Smile specifically highlights this energetic and joyful pose as the central theme of the figurine.
The little snowmen representing Naofumi and Filo, accompanied by Raph-chan, further enhance the warm atmosphere of the scene. This figurine thus serves as a moment of tranquillity amidst the trials faced by Raphtalia and her companions.
