Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Nicknamed "The Queen of Country", Reba McEntire is one of the most influential and respected artists in the history of American music, with dozens of number one singles to her name and numerous top awards to her name. Released in 1990 on her album Rumor Has It, her memorable cover of the Southern song 'Fancy' (originally created by Bobbie Gentry) has become one of her greatest signature anthems. The song tells the poignant story of a young woman who overcomes hardship with the help of a famous red dress given to her by her impoverished mother. This figurine captures the stage power and iconic look associated with Reba's theatrical performances of this cult track from her setlist.
