Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Introduced in 1985 by Alan Moore, Stephen Bissette and John Totleben in the pages of Swamp Thing before becoming the star of his own Hellblazer series, John Constantine is a cynical exorcist, detective of the occult and street magician from Liverpool. A complex, sarcastic character tormented by his past demons, he is historically one of the leading figures in the DC Comics stable to be openly bisexual. Navigating between the light and darkness of Justice League Dark, he uses his intelligence and mastery of dark magic to fool angels and demons alike. This figure from the Funko Pride collection celebrates his story and identity, highlighting inclusion, diversity and visibility in pop culture.
