Discover the Jungle Hunter, the iconic Predator from the original 1987 film, with this 1/10 Art Scale collectable statue created by Iron Studios. Standing approximately 25 cm tall, this resin piece depicts the alien hunter in a menacing pose, set against a jungle-inspired base where he is stalking the unit led by Dutch.
The sculpture highlights the characteristic details of his appearance: textured skin, dreadlocks, alien armour, a net covering his body, metal armour plates, a plasma cannon mounted on his shoulder and wrist blades. The painting is hand-applied, with careful attention to textures and shading designed to capture the character’s organic and technological appearance. The base completes the composition with a vegetated and rocky environment inspired by the film’s jungle.
Iron Studios also includes an interchangeable head and an interchangeable right hand, allowing you to alter the statue’s presentation. These elements offer several display configurations without changing the overall pose of this static piece.

The Jungle Hunter is the Predator who appears in the first film of the franchise, *Predator*, directed by John McTiernan and released in 1987. The story follows Major Alan ‘Dutch’ Schaefer, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, and his military unit sent on a rescue mission to a jungle in Latin America. After their operation, the soldiers discover that they are themselves being hunted by an alien adversary capable of blending almost completely into its surroundings.
This hunter possesses technology far superior to that of its prey: optical camouflage, thermal vision, a shoulder-mounted plasma cannon and retractable blades on its wrists are among its most recognisable weapons. He methodically hunts down the members of Dutch’s unit and keeps certain parts of his victims as trophies.
When Dutch realises how to reduce the effectiveness of its thermal vision, the confrontation evolves into a true duel between hunters. This final showdown in the jungle helps to make the original Predator one of the iconic creatures of 1980s science-fiction and action cinema. The Iron Studios statue accurately recreates this first incarnation, now commonly known as the Jungle Hunter.
