Meet Dek and Thia, the central duo from Predator: Badlands, with this 1/10 Art Scale figurine created by Iron Studios. Standing approximately 27 cm tall, this piece brings together the young Yautja and his synthetic ally in a scene inspired by their journey across the dangerous planet Genna. The piece is crafted from Polystone and features a detailed, hand-painted finish.
Dek is depicted standing in a combat stance, kitted out in his Yautja armour and carrying several weapons, whilst Thia is carried on his back, as seen in the film. The sculpture contrasts the organic textures of Dek’s skin with the metallic and technological elements of his equipment, whilst capturing Thia’s human appearance and her Weyland-Yutani synthetic clothing. The figurine also includes an interchangeable head for Dek, allowing him to be displayed wearing his Bio-mask.
The whole scene is set on a diorama base depicting the hostile environment of Genna, complete with vegetation and rocky terrain. Bud, the small creature they encountered during their journey, also appears in the lower part of the composition. This third element enables the figurine to capture not only the characters but also the relationship that develops between them as the story unfolds.

In Predator: Badlands, Dek is a young Predator – or Yautja – who has been cast out by his clan and deemed not powerful enough. Eager to prove his worth, he travels to Genna, an extremely hostile planet, with the aim of hunting down the Kalisk, a creature reputed to be virtually impossible to kill. The film marks a significant development for the franchise, as it places a Yautja at the centre of the narrative as the protagonist for the first time.
On Genna, Dek meets Thia, a severely damaged synthetic from the Weyland-Yutani Corporation who is missing the lower half of her body. Having lost her team during an attempt to capture the Kalisk, Thia is familiar with the creature and offers her help to Dek. The two characters gradually form an unlikely alliance despite their very different backgrounds and objectives.
Their journey then transforms the initial hunt into a story of survival and personal discovery. Dek, raised according to his clan’s brutal values, is gradually confronted with a different conception of strength and loyalty, whilst Thia becomes much more than just a guide. Their encounter with Bud further strengthens this group dynamic and is one of the elements directly featured in the Iron Studios diorama.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, *Predator: Badlands* was released in 2025 and delves deeper into Yautja culture by telling the story from the perspective of a Predator rather than that of its human prey. This 1/10 Art Scale figurine encapsulates this new direction for the saga by bringing together Dek, Thia and Bud in a single scene dedicated to their journey on Genna.
